Our clients frequently ask us questions about technical matters related either to our work methodologies or to our company. Please find below a few examples of such questions.
Digital models first emerged in the 2000s for certain projects in various industrial sectors, such as the automotive industry. It was during this period, in fact, that interfaces were developed to transfer the dimensions of mechanical parts directly to machining centers. Today, the digital model has become an indispensable tool for visualizing the installation, coordinating all trades, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with design budgets, as a large number of documents (TIE-IN specifications, ISO standards, 2D drawings, etc.) can be easily extracted from it.
Digital tools such as 3D scanners and photogrammetry can be used to digitize existing installations. Thanks to these point clouds, design offices are able to obtain convincing elements, thus greatly reducing the need for site visits to re-do a coastline. This type of approach is particularly interesting for projects involving the integration of a new production line.
Our company was founded on the following principles:
Our experience confirms our orientation. We see every day with our customers that interfaces between different experts are always complicated. Employing atypical profiles with a wealth of experience gives us legitimacy on these key points.
Our experts maintain their skills and are constantly on the lookout for sensitive subjects related to their profession. Their analyses help to ensure that the inspections entrusted to us by our customers are carried out correctly, while guaranteeing the correct interpretation of standards and regulations.
Our decision to work during the construction and start-up phases of industrial equipment means that we remain close to real-life and operational issues.
